Jazz@19 is our brand-new live jazz night at Il Maremmano, bringing you the best of Brixton’s jazz scene in an intimate, atmospheric setting.
Join us to experience our resident band, The Funk Hunt for a night of soulful grooves accompanied by great cocktails and Tuscan food and wine.
About The Funk Hunt
If Miles Davis was the Birth of Cool, then The Funk Hunt is its bar mitzvah. Lara and Joe have been sharing a stage in theatres, churches, at festivals and jam-packed pubs for a decade, performing together in everything from stage musicals to big bands to quintets, and to the gorgeous, soulful duet you’ll find at Il Maremmano on Thursdays. Hailing from Brixton (pretty much) and at the forefront of the South London jazz revival, this is The Funk Hunt.

There will be two seatings:
Seating 1
Bookings open from 5pm, table available until 8pm
Music: 7pm - 8pm
Seating 2
Bookings open from 8.15pm, table available until 11pm
Music: 8.30pm - 9.30pm
FREE ENTRY
There will be a variety of Maremman specialities, cocktails, hot pizzette, crostoni and Tuscan wines to purchase on the night.
Table bookings are highly recommended, but for those feeling spontaneous, a limited number of standing places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis (walk-ins only).
